President:  Amanda Boschken

  • Presides at all board and general meetings.
  • Responsible for coordination of all events, delegating to members of the board as is appropriate.
  • Sets agenda for meetings

VP Membership: Tracey Leong

  • Maintains membership database
  • Sends a welcome email, track it forward URL and adds the person to google calendar and TWC group email
  • Recruits new members from MVLA community
  • Maintains email list for membership

Meeting Coordinator: Jim Malone

  • Coordinates with the president on meetings
  • Works with the board on planning meeting dates
  • Secures speaker for the calendar year (1-2 minimum)
  • Schedules and coordinates all general meetings at location TBD. This includes snacks, supplies, etc.
  • Writes thank you notes to speakers
  • Coordinates website posting of any video/photos taken at meetings.

VP Social Media Coordinator: Amanda Le

  • Maintain weekly TWC connections through social media (Instagram, facebook, twitter)
  • Create Instagram, facebook and twitter accounts
  • Daily or weekly inspirational content
  • Upcoming events and highlights
  • Promotions

Social Media Communicator: Daniella Sayar

  • Send texts to TWC groups
  • Communicate new events to teens/tweens

VP Hours: Maia Marken

  • Provides new members with login information to track hours on Track It Forward
  • Collects and maintains a database of hours/meetings count for members
  • Notifies members of hours/meetings shortfalls for the present year
  • Creates hours reports to be reviewed by Board

VP Philanthropy: Rosa Peir/Annie Schmidt/Dolly Eckinger

  • Recruit & manage a team of Philanthropy Liaisons who manage relationships w/our philanthropies
  • Send out monthly opportunities to members with philanthropy opportunities
  • Speak about philanthropy topics at TWC meetings
  • Help recruit philanthropy for TWC meetings
  • Manage a philanthropy project with a focused goal in mind
  • Works to define and develop appropriate class projects

VP Communications:  Jen Springer

  • Monitors email account and forwards emails to members
  • Maintain the TWC google group email account making sure all new members are added
  • Coordinate with President to send out announcements and reminders for meetings
  • Request meeting minutes from Secretary and send minutes to members
  • Coordinate with VP of Hours to get a list of philanthropy activities and send members reminders about logging volunteer hours in TrackItForward

Website Coordinator: Winnie Chai/Kyoko Taue

  • Works with VP of Communications
  • Develops and maintains TWC website which should include a monthly calendar of events, Philanthropy opportunities, general information about each philanthropy, meeting minutes, newsletters, etc.
  • Keep website up to date with membership information and adds pictures and videos

Project Coordinator: Vanessa Jordan and Laura Wiley/Laine Pfeiffer/ Emma Boschken

  • Set up projects with TWC members
  • Works with Board on planning these
  • Sends info to VP Communications

Treasurer: Hattie Shieh/Clarissa Shieh

  • Oversees all financial aspects of TWC
  • Keeps accurate financial records
  • Creates and manages yearly budget

Secretary:

  • Responsible for recording minutes at the board and general meetings
  • Send minutes to members

Photographer: Cate Boschken/ Ally Leong

  • Take pictures of various events/meetings
  • Add to website or send to web coordinator, send to LACF and social media VP

Build A Better World Campaign: Joy Sheerer/ Mikayla Sheerer/Marissa Tsoi/Rebecca Ramko

  • Find venues/events to sell cards
  • schedule times for TWC members to create the artwork
  • make BABW cards with cardstock and envelopes, assemble them into 10 card sets.
  • vote on organizations to give back to
